Terms of Service

    By using Go Tap Talk you agree to these terms. Please read them. The key points: use the service lawfully, don't abuse it, pay for paid plans, and we can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Go Tap Talk ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Go Tap Talk provides a real-time team communications platform including push-to-talk voice, group voice, direct calls, and screen sharing. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
One person may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
You must provide a valid email address for account verification.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

Transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited commercial communications
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

5. Plans and billing

Free plan features are available indefinitely at no charge.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
Trial periods begin on the date of subscription and end after the stated number of days.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
We reserve the right to change plan prices with 30 days notice by email.
Accounts that exceed plan limits may have features restricted until upgraded.

6. Content

You retain ownership of any content you transmit through the Service. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to transmit and relay your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

Audio, video, and screen share content is transmitted peer-to-peer and is not stored by us. You are solely responsible for the content you transmit.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the Service you agree to the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Go Tap Talk and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the last revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes by email.
